Mk. Im going to keep posting all my question in this one thread, to not flood FAQ..
Anyone else can feel free to post questions in here as well, the more knowledge the better imo.

For starters:

1. Will a QB with 40 throwing be a feasible option for throwing bullet screen passes?
2. For Power WRs. Would 80str/80cry (combined with YAC Attack/Slippery/Bruiser/SYM/Steady Grip). Would that be decent for shedding some blockers on screens/ come back routes?
3. Vision on a 140spd type powerback. I don't want him to get too dance happy. So how much vision do you all recommend to put on these guys

serious question, not trying to troll you but genuinely curious

you are in at least 2 private forums with great dot builders available to give advice. Why would you ask in the FAQ forum?

1. its just a screen just throw it
2. WR's dont break tackles
3. Should probably go faster if you want him to stand a chance. but 2nd cap should be fine imo

Ik. this is common belief, but are you sure?

Or maybe I am getting too excited over my prep WR pretty well (30-40%ish) breaking tackles after the catch. (Sure hands VA)

3). I assume you want a min of 40 so you can pick up the Short Yardage monster. I wouldn't invest more than it takes to get to the 2nd cap. So somewhere between 40-60. Probably just over capped will do.

I don't have enough experience in building the other two to comment on them with any credence to accuracy.

15 broken tackles on 22 receptions. In WL. See here: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2374913&pbp_id=6456924

That being said, I wouldn't recommend making a power WR in GLB's current sim.

To your vision question, 40 vision is fine. Just for short yardage monster VA.

Right, but with all the tiny m2m CBs and stuff, do you think this will be a possibility in a few seasons?

Or should I just make speedy agile WRs to run my WR screens?

Thought so. 40 vis it is.

The challenge is getting the ball in the receiver's hands. The break tackle ability is merely a nice to have (while the ability to get open/catch the ball is the must-have). That's why I wouldn't recommend someone build a power WR. SPs are so stretched on a 5 major dot as it is. Burning through SPs to get 90+ strength and ample carrying means you'll need a committed and crafty OC willing to take some risks. Overall it's just a no go.

^The main (pretty much only) use would be screens.

Does that change ^^^ statement?

Could you reduce the amount of catching needed? Would any OC take that risk? You'd want more Str/Car and less Cat/Vis. High Spd/Agi.

Basically build him like an Elusive HB with slightly elevated catching #'s

Here's a question for a BT WR. Has anyone tested the efficacy of Hurdle for WR's on screens? You wouldn't need 90 strength in that regard and jumping should do. Maybe something like 75-80 strength with 60 jump (I'm just ballparking...)

Scout these guys. They loved the WR screen this season. http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1192 I can't say anything about the builds, but they weren't breaking tackles with strength just by looking at it.

About question 1, I'm not sure you want a high strength RQB throwing bullet screens.
