Why is it when I was in National Pro League in prior seasons, and this season, that I was constantly shot down by free agents in favor of world league teams.

But when I had a World League Team I still couldn't sign any free agents?

I know it can't be me.

Is it me?

Yello1 old friend you and I have had this exact discussion in suggestions on multiple occasions. and evidently you didn't listen at all. so here it goes again and I mean no disrespect at all.

you are basically not known on the game for having any success for the most part. so agents will go to other peoples teams that have the big names that do win on a consistent basis. even the team you had in WL only made it because some of the top names on the game decided to help you. I am in the same boat as you are. I haven't been to WL but once or twice. I am not really known on the game by many people. I also am not associated with the well known names of the WL. so if I had to recruit to fill my teams I would be seeing the same problem as you.

My advice to you is if you would focus on 1 maybe 2 teams of yours and do your best to make those teams successful. if you start winning and showing you can be a consistent threat to win championships or atleast make the playoffs. then I would be willing to bet your recruiting would get better.

It's not just you. Recruiting has really been difficult for everyone.

And no, I don't considering people with a team in a network or that sign mostly people in their inner circle as recruiting. So spare me any jive about how you've had no problems when in fact you've had the same handful of people creating dots for your teams for 30 seasons.

I get all that but

I did that, while it did take that help to get there, it also took the best dots I had.

And while doing that recruiting for the WL team, all of those same big name players were my HC DC OC and half my dots just as they were when we won OPro gold. Very little change in the roster.

And yet it was still hard to get free agents to fill those changed positions. It was pretty darned frustrating let me tell ya.

Yeah things are winding down I know. I have five teams in Nat Pro for no particularly good reason. So the dot population must be thinning out.

But still.

I can see that friend and I commend you for getting the help from those guys. I know you work hard on your teams. I know how hard it is to recruit. that was why I have always said if you could focus on 1 or 2 teams at different levels then you wouldn't have to be competing against your own teams for the same dots. but you foot the bill and you do the work. I just offer a opinion that I thought could possibly help you. and again Yello1 no offense was intended. I am not trying to troll or anything and if you want to discuss anything shoot me a PM.

Thanks Hatch. No arguments here, other than noting as I have in the past that the many teams are my advertising, if you will. I land some loyal productive agents by having those extra berths for dots.

But it was a lot easier when I had more coordinators.

Though I am making the teams more carbon copies (in form if not quality) which is making it easier. I need the same things for each team.

If, that is, I could find more FBs and TEs.

lol that roster is actually filled. I have the dots to finish it off but waiting to see if I can land a couple stud Wideouts instead of my more utility guys.

I can see where you are coming from. but consider if you only had 1 team in Natty Pro and the rest staggered throughout the lower leagues. you would be able to combine the rosters you have on the 5 teams into 1 super team. that team should have alot more success and should theoretically be easier to recruit for. I am not saying the number of teams you own is the problem. but having 5 teams the same level and age are just making it so you have to compete against your own teams for dots. and lets face it the dot pool is very watered down these days.

Oh yeah I should have recycled the others. I ran into a thing where the guys coaching the teams were so into it that it would have felt like taking their toys away.

I should probably do that with the Grace now that Envy left.
