As per title. The description for the SA only mentions receivers, but I know some of the descriptions are incomplete.

Second question: does anyone use this SA, and do people think it "works" at all? If not, is there any SA apart from Sticky Hands that a DB targetting interceptions should have?

Many thanks in advance.

From my knowledge jump catch is not an SA receivers want to put much if anything in to, so I would guess its a no go for CB's

There used be a lot of INT CBs who utilized Jumping Catch. It was hot for a while, but after INTs were 'killed' and then later revitalized again, Jumping Catch didn't seem to return with it.

If nothing else as a test, I chose Jumping Catch as a bonus SA for my INT CBs I'm working on.

In terms of what a DB targeting INTs should have, you absolutely cannot abandon the staples. You still have to play coverage and it's not like you are going to get an INT every time. That means you should still invest in Swat Ball, Superior Vision, Change Direction, Zone Focus for safeties etc.

Ya I was just guessing based on what I see from WR builds, and can't remember seeing anyone suggest getting Jumping Catch for a CB.

I can imagine how it might help though, unfortunately I have no idea how the game is coded in those regards, so I just speculate.

Not totally sure but I think ti has to do with the "progression of the play". I seem to remember in Q&A several questions on this subject (various questions concerning passing, catching, and intercepting of same) that there's a "deflection check"... then a "catch check"... then, depending on if it's a catch or not, a "knock loose check (if caught)"... then a "Interception check".
If that is true, that would explain why Jumping Catch doesn't seem to work for DB's since it's more of an offense related thing anyways. I have had very good success with Long reach though (as far as helping increase my INT's and PD's).
