Welcome back! Probably the biggest change is...nothing changes much anymore. The game is out of beta. Bort only makes minor enhancements and bug fixes now.
Seasons are still 40 days long with an 8 day off season.
I usually build my new dot's on day 42

Any time between day 40 and day 48. You will receive the same amount of training points regardless of when you create in that span.

You might wanna read up on multi training and the advanced player building system which probably was installed since you left. It changes a lot of stuff you do now building dots.

One thing you do is go back and read the change log for the past two years and it will give you an idea of alot of the changes and or adjustments that have been made. Welcome back.
