Is there a way to have your offense opt out of a field goal and go for it on 4th at the goal line in causal play??

Thanks
Justin

Yep. Switch from Casual to Regular.

The whole point of Casual is that nobody has control of fine-point stuff like this, which makes gameplanning simple for everybody. But the downside is that you lose the ability to do things like telling your team to go for it on 4th & Goal at the 1.

Seems like a lot of people have ideas for "just one thing" to add to Casual to give you a little more control of your Casual team, but if everyone got their "just one thing" added to Casual, it wouldn't be Casual anymore. It would be Regular.

I guess when you break it down that way it makes perfect sense. Ill learn to accept it I suppose.

Thank you

The only way to go for it on 4th down & goal at the one in casual has some serious side effects.

If you set you FG distance from 0-17 yards, you will go for it in that situation. The only problem is that in casual, you will go for it on EVERY 4th down inside the 30 yard line, no matter the distance to the first down. Not a very stable way of doing things IMO unless you are essentially trying anything you can against a team you expect to have a tough time beating.

The only other option is using the presets. Most of the presets have average to above average logic in its 4th down calling. Depending on the score of the game and which preset you use, I see a lot of 4th down conversions in casual by those using the presets.
