I haven't owned a team in a while and I bought a Rookie Casual team because I don't really have the time to do elaborate game planning and chose Rookie so I could get a feel for everything again.

That being said it looks like the regular forums for rookie are FLOODED and the Casual ones are not.. also there are like 5-6 CPU owned teams on our schedule.

In this thread, Bikaben is surprised that Casual owners don't take their teams as seriously as Regular owners.

Not surprised at all! It's common sense, but still. haha

I wonder if Pee Wee is taken more seriously. Maybe I should stop being lazy, create my dynamic defensive tactics again and hire an OC and own a regular team as well. lol

Well, your team is in Rookie Cas #3 and by the time you get to the #3 league in casual you're going to have a lot of CPU teams. The more CPU teams the less cares the agents generally have.

OP..............

There are many of us that take Casual Leagues very serious. I am one. Don't own a regular team anymore and
more than likely won't again.

So you are going to be playing CPU teams... that's ok. It won't be that way later on when the dots get older. Just make sure
your Agents don't give up and continue to build the best dots they can. Competition will be better in the upper leagues. Hang
in there... it'll all work out

Casual #3 should be pretty competitive...or at least my team is taking it seriously. Agree with 1hottie, though, that things will get more competitive as the weaker teams weed themselves out over the course of the next few seasons.

even the elite leagues are jokes. the team im on has played like 4 good teams over the last year.

the reasons to play casual:
you have no time to play the game how its supposed to be played
youre terrible
enjoy not being able to do exactly what you want when you want
you enjoy no competition
want easy gold trophies.

You left out:
Refusal to devote all of your time to an internet football sim
Avoidance of elitists
Understanding a game is supposed to be fun, not work. Work is for that.

There! Now your list is complete!

you only have to put effort in during the playoffs. if you dont have a spare 30 minutes in your life every other day for one week, you live a tough life.
