Not enough teams to justify it. Just keep one Gold league and the rest Silver and just adjust the number of Silver leagues each season based on need.

Also randomly re-assign Silver teams to the available Silver leagues each and every season, much like you do with Rookie. No need to keep rivalries at the Silver level. This would help keep more human teams in the Silver leagues. In the last league to fill up, just fill what ever remains with CPU teams and those are the teams that are available to purchase at the PW level. If that league fills up, open up a new one with all CPU teams available for purchase, or cap the number of Silver leagues at some point.

Clean, simple, logical, what's not to like about this idea? Granted I would prefer an overhaul of PW like another post suggests, but this idea cleans up the PW leagues in their current form.

Im saying, some people should not just jump straight into gold,

even whodey had a go of PWsilver before, and promoted up to gold, and i know he will do very well.

From personal experience, atleast one season in copper/silver is almost mandatory before starting a PWG campaign. Helps the coordinators get a feel for what agents respond well to certain things, what build work, what doesn't, certain AIs. etc. etc.

I learned a lot in my 1 season of PWC, had i been dropped right into gold, i would not have learned half as much.

copper = 2 season (if believe)
silver = only 1 before promote to pwg.

They wouldn't make it to Gold unless they did well in their Silver playoffs. That's the point, if Silver was 90% populated with human teams, those that do well in Silver and get promoted to Gold would have more experience against human teams and likely be better. Also, those new to PW would get a lot of experience from playing mid-level human teams. No they wont do as well, but you don't learn anything playing CPU teams.

Not really sure why people are so hung up on the whole "gold/silver/copper" thing. Need to reduce the leagues down to about 4. Having a Gold league with so few leagues involved is pretty silly. It's like "hey! I'm king of the world because I'm on the top tier of a two tier league structure. I'm #1 out of 2.

I like having gold and Gerr's suggestion is right on the money imo. One Gold league at least one human filled Silver league and a partial full Silver League. The number of leagues would change as demand changes.

Every peewee suggestion I ever make just gets derailed by people who have nothing to do with peewee, never had anything to do with peewee, and just can't grasp the concept of anything outside their little world. Even Mods who haven't played peewee in 30 seasons are suddenly expert enough to tell everyone it is slow and sucks. I have little faith anything will be done to improve peewee. Catch on the other hand seems less partial and biased and may surprise us.
