This is my team, and I got a pretty set roster, but have 5 slots left open, would it be best to just make 5 stops? or would it be better to make a few extra WR's/CB's/HB's that double as STOPS?

An extra TE, LB and 3 stops imo

I would drop the punter as you dont need a punter in Pee Wee. That would free up 6 spots. I would add 2 more TE's, 1 rushing QB, and 3 STOPS as your blocking Wedge for returns. You dont need more than 6 LB's.

I agree with dropping the P.

For the 6 spots....

Rec TE
ST TE
ST TE
ST C
LB
CB

While not needing a punter early in the season is accurate, I like to have one come playoff time as by that time, they can boot it a fair distance.

If you were to keep the punter, I would say...

1 Receiving TE
1 CB or LB(your choice, depends on your defensive setup and which one is used more often)
3 C-STOPS

That may be true.....I rarely faced a situation where I needed to punt

Offenses tend to click well all season, but it often takes a defense until later in the season to gel, so a good punter is nice in those low scoring defensive games where a FG could win/lose a game.

Not having a punter means you must trust the shet out of your DC

Yes and no. Up until the playoffs you punt the ball for 13-20 yards and its returned 5 yds or more. You gained squat by punting so you might as well go for it. I didn't have a punter on my pee wee team and converted about 90% of my 4th down plays versus punting and moving the ball 10 yards or something stupid like that.

That also freed up a roster spot that was much more useful than a punter
