I am on version 21 of Firefox. I use firebug version 1.11.3. Four of the greasemonkey scripts I have always used are now not working, but everything is enabled. If someone has any insight on what is happening, that would be great.

~Thanks, Ez

It could also be a newer version of GreaseMonkey causing an issue so try here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/versions/ for an older version; again I think it's 1.8 so try that version.

Chrome makes my computer grind to a halt and mis-loads some of the websites I like to visit, while Firefox works like a dream.

It all depends on your hardware, your software, and what you want to do on the internet. For some people (like you and Ezra), Chrome is best. For others (like me), Firefox is best. There is no one answer.

agreed - google programs in general seem to be unstable and cause issues which is why I have none on my computer any more

Well, I wouldn't go that far either. For a lot of people, Chrome runs like a dream. For you and me, it doesn't. That's why I said it all depends on your particular computer and on what you do on the Internet.

It's like saying, "a sports car is always better than a mini-van!" If you like driving fast and don't have any kids, yeah, the sports car is better. But if you have 6 kids, the mini-van is the better choice.

Being partisan about a browser is just silly. Use what works best for you, let other people use what works best for them, and don't take it as a personal affront if someone else uses a different browser than you. It's a browser. Nobody's going to break the entire internet if they use the "wrong" browser.

Firefox worked perfectly for me for years until a week or so ago. I have never been a chrome guy. However, as a life long PC user that lost my mind with drivers, updates, viruses, etc I switched to mac.

The minute I have to start making my fast, virus free, easy to use mac do funky stuff to run a piece of software is the minute I use a new piece of software.

Chrome annoys me, but my scripts work. I pretty much own a computer for my wife to do her photos on, for us to skype with family, and for me to play GLB.

Just work, baby!
