agility should at least be 60-capped

35 speed seems to be the min to help with dropping back to pass

as for agility not only that, has a positive effect on pass quality as well.
it will also reduce the chance of bad passes, by allowing yr QB
to slide around the pocket a bit, instead of being a statue and a sitting duck.

You might even consider sneaking a few SP's out of strength (maybe taking it to 90 instead... plenty strong enough) and put them into agility because...

... of this being correct.

if this is a deep passer, why more vision than strength? why not just do a pocket passer at that point? Pump Fake is a lot more desirable than Turn Shoulder anyway.

IMO, you spent too much time on passing. that gimped the rest of the build. If you're doing 4 AEQ, then as long as you crack triple digits in throwing, you'll be fine. If you get out of throwing faster, then you can start vision sooner, and get out of it faster, and so on.

Work your way down to speed and make him as fast as possible without compromising the rest of the build.

At the snap, the ability to get away from the LoS as fast as possible greatly reduces pressure and increases pass quality.

With the use of Techman on the rise, there's probably going to be an increased value on QBs that can reduce pressure with their legs, instead of just being able to throw a football trick shot video

Agree with TJ a bit here. Throwing at 109 will pretty much look the same on the field as Throwing at 102. That's alot of SP you can allocate to Agility and Speed.

Yeah. For a DP archetype, you don't need 100 vision... it won't HURT the build... but if you swapped strength for vision it would look (and work) better. TJ and AZSEA have great points (as does DC)... so you might try that.

Deep Passer has strength and vision as majors - confidence vs. strength is the attribute major/minor difference between deep and pocket archetypes

all QB's should be deep passer arch in my opinion with still being able to choose vision or strength as the #2 attribute behind throwing

except pump fake is a much better green than turn shoulder. If you're going to hit up vision first, you might as well go PP. The advantage a DP has, is to be able to throw that 90 MPH fastball, which cuts down on the time CBs have to react to the ball. It's like having extra bullet tactic, which allows you to dial back into some loft for easier catches... or go for extra fast bullet action.

I can kinda back this up a little. I prefer PP QB's and have built several and, as TJ says, vision comes before strength (IMO) when I build them.... So if that's true of PP's then DP's are probably better suited with the opposite mentality.

What do you prefer end higher - strength or confidence?

That answer should determine the archetype you choose
