hey, I am wondering why we have a signing freeze. I know it might be a stupid question, but I want to understand GLB better every day I guess.

day 41 no one can be released or signed. rollover tonight to tomorrow your team will be in a higher league unless youre resetting. all the movements happen tonight so bort freezes our rosters.

you can release on d41? i did not know that. i thought day 40-41 everyone who's contract ended was released then no1 could be released.

When players go inactive and/or don't accept new contracts that expire on Day 40, you end up having to cut them. No reason to wait for day 42, when you can go ahead and start re-couping Chemistry one day sooner.

The signing freeze's purpose is to provide a buffer for teams that 'accidentally' expire. Otherwise your team's dots would sign elsewhere before the error was corrected.
It's a cold day in GLB....
