That player won the WL DVMP this season and won the drawing and got the gear...however as you can see he is now retired.
When stuff like that happens, I think the gear should go to the 2nd place player( http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=2578684 ). And if they retired then go to the 3rd place player, and so on. Just a waste every season we have stuff like this at all levels. Kind of takes away the whole point of winning the gear.
