I was wanting to build a Blitzing or Coverage OLB, my question I guess is which is easier to build? Also, how would I go about building him during his first season? Like which attributes should I try to soft-cap first and stuff like that.?

Can't help you with the Blitzer, as I've never built one but my answer for the coverage OLB is to build Speed, Agility, Vision, Tackling, Strength, Stamina, Jumping, Confidence...in that order. Probably going to want to utilize the VPB in order to try a few things out. Tough to cover the Elite RTE's and Scats at the top of the food chain without 155+ total Speed (many would argue even higher I bet).
So should I soft cap Speed while training speed, or should I be training something else while I wait for enough SP to soft-cap?
(I haven't been on GLB since like season 18 so I forget alot of stuff haha)

Blitzer- you want too use Agility as your primary, speed, tackling then jumping. Blitzer LBers are different from coverage, so if you build it like a coverage LB you won't get what you want.
You want you LBer to be able to get around OT's, since most OT's start with strength, you could get around them with agility, quicker then they can, and since they will be slow, you will beat them with the minimal speed anyway.
Coverage- you want to start with speed, then agility, vision, jumping.

If going strength first then pick one pound below the maximum. If picking speed first then pick one pound above the minimum. Enhance the first attribute to 10%, train intense three times, enhance to 20%, then train intense until you have a nearly full bar at 32.9x. Convert 15 bonus tokens to a skill point and cap to 48.9x. Then boost. Next season you'll enhance to 30% and normal train, then second cap, then continue normal training, then third cap. At that point you'll unlock and enhance your attributes for multi-training. Unlock the first, second, and third attributes you plan to cap and enhance all to 30% when possible. Use the free first slot to rotate any other attributes you plan to cap eventually, enhancing each to 10%. Continue multi-training until the first attribute reaches anywhere between 90 and 100 depending upon your build plan. Skill points should be spent in the first attribute until it reaches between 73 and 85 depending upon your build plan and how many attributes you eventually need to increase.

Agility before Speed?

While I seem to value Agility more than some people on here, even I'd have to say you want to go Speed first, then Agility, regardless of whether you're building a Blitzing or Coverage LB.
If you go Agility first, then putting your Eq in Speed is a must.

I had to retire the coverage LB and turn him into a HH LB, but i feel like if you start with agility you wont be able to keep up with half of the RTE/HB out of the backfield right?

HH. should probably go strength first.

I did do strength, I was just saying if you did have a Coverage LB wouldn't it be sort of a bad idea to do Agility first since most recieving TE's and Scat backs will have a higher speed and will easy be able to out run you in open field?
