Not just some one to sticky the GG thread, but some one to do rankings and write ups to go with. Doesn't need to be current mods, but some one who earns flex while being responsible for the upkeep. Its the one things that can be cheaply done, without a programming change, that would make the game infinitely more enjoyable for teams. Can obviously be done at lower levels as well, but WL/Pro would be an excellent place to start.

How much would one have to be paid in flex to make this do-able? That's my thought from the mod perspective. Most of the mods are basically volunteers and still buy flex as much as the next guy.

Rankings + writeups is going to sound like a positive and will garner +1's, but there's a reason most people don't do them. It's time-consuming without utility to match. So the thread creation loses on opportunity cost with regularity.

I think you'd find an initial group if you were assembling a 'Press' team and then quality/quantity of writeups would gradually drop until the admin governing the individuals had to cut them loose. Then rinse and repeat, with each repeat of the process becoming gradually harder. Burnout would occur pretty quickly.

I know what most mods are paid flex wise, I think most people that would be willing to do this would be happy with that pay. As for burnout, I am sure that will happen with some, but with others it wont. There will never be anything done without some turnover, a fear of that shouldn't deter something. And I believe the utility is there to match.

I would do league write-ups for any league for 50 flex per write-up.

I don't know what set of scripts this guy is using but starting off with this in each league weekly would be fantastic. Followed by weekly previews and reviews of games. Possibly a midseason all star team watch. If you are gonna flex someone to do these things you want some good stuff.

I would say starting with WL, Nat pro leagues, elite leagues, and GLB sponsored tournaments would be a good way to go.

It is better than that other script. The other script just throws random scores around and is largely a joke imo.

Even better. And that script does look much better than the old one and would work very well.
