Being a coordinator for the offense or defense is a fun, but no real reward for all the work that is done so this is not a prime choice for the majority of people on GLB. For those that do try, they learn that being a good coordinator becomes a second job.
Not only do you have to adjust your OAI or DAI during the season, but you have to keep up on the latest SIM changes during the offseason. You have to keep up with players on the team to make sure you have the right builds and VA setup. On top of all of that you have to worry about the agent who has a dot on the team that doesn’t think they’re getting the ball enough.
I know there are other things coordinators due on top of that list, but those are probably some of the more common issues besides coordinators also having to recruit players as well. All of this work for the slight chance at getting a gold or silver trophy.
It’s time GLB take an interest in making it more rewarding to be a coordinator.
With the use of the “My Tactics” tab assigned to every person on GLB it should be very easy to tell which offense and which defense was used for each game played. Why not use that tracking system to track the success rate of each OC and DC? This will not only create a ranking system for the coordinators overall record, but it could also be done for every level of the game.
This would allow for competition between coordinators to be the best overall or even at each level. It would also give the owners of teams the opportunity to see who the best coordinators are at each level of the game.
If the system was also changed to where the “My Tactics” tab and the “Team Calendar” tab had to be used for each game in order to use an OAI or DAI, this would keep coordinators from taking their AI off for games they think they will lose and help force coordinators in caring more about winning at every level.
