Not certain if this has ever been discussed but why is that that when you get forum banned why do you also get banned from private forums.

because they are forums

Forum suspensions are meant to be a significant enough inconvenience that it deters you from repeating the violation of the forum rule.

My opinion is that mods abused their powers banned everyone all the time and then people joined a ton of private forums to avoid posting on public forums then I think shorty after hazy became catch that the forum banned became applicable to the private sector as well
