The current GLB chat is as good as ded. I know there are some guys who used to frequent chat using another chat client, though.
Anyways, once the guys from GLB push into the tangible realm of building out their brand with a slew of new games (in progress and potentially coming soon as you'll find from reading the recent Q&A's) I think it's likely we see some sort of chat integration. That's speculation, though. Whether that is a global chat or merely some sort of Facebook-esque chat deal, idk. We can only sit back and watch.

With or without the flash problem, Demodding hazee killed chat. Regardless if u want to admit it or not. It would just be Slash in there all alone muting himself.

Actually, I have to agree. I never had a problem joining chat, and I stopped going there because NO ONE WAS EVER THERE since that day.

Wonder if they can fiddle with the current team chat setup. Might not be possible, but would seem that if they temp changed the chat link above to a team chat where anyone can join it could be a temporary fix. Better than having a link to a chat that doesn't work for most people.
Not a perfect solution, and not sure if mods/admin have any "power" to mute/kick/ban there but might be something for them to consider.
