Hey there everyone, I recently came back to GLB after a long time away (I think the last time I played was during season 5?) and have made a few dots and from reading some of the forum posts see a lot has changed. So was just wondering what major things have changed or is player building the same?

Player building is WAY different, and a lot has changed.
I see you have a bunch of 52-day-old dots, so I'm assuming you came back about 52 days ago? I'd keep playing those dots for now, but at the end of this season, retire 'em all and start over. Find an experienced agent who is looking to start a new team, pledge some dots to them, build them on Day 40, and ask them to help you put together a build plan.
Big thing to consider: slow-building is dead. CAP-building, however, is very much alive and is pretty much the only way to build a good dot now. And no, slow-building and cap-building are not the same thing.
I'll leave you with an early-build plan that jdbolick put together. It's quite good... there are circumstances where it's not the best plan to follow, but even then it will still leave you with a very good dot.

If going strength first then pick one pound below the maximum. If picking speed first then pick one pound above the minimum. Enhance the first attribute to 10%, train intense three times, enhance to 20%, then train intense until you have a nearly full bar at 32.9x. Convert 15 bonus tokens to a skill point and cap to 48.9x. Then boost. Next season you'll enhance to 30% and normal train, then second cap, then continue normal training, then third cap. At that point you'll unlock and enhance your attributes for multi-training. Unlock the first, second, and third attributes you plan to cap and enhance all to 30% when possible. Use the free first slot to rotate any other attributes you plan to cap eventually, enhancing each to 10%. Continue multi-training until the first attribute reaches anywhere between 90 and 100 depending upon your build plan. Skill points should be spent in the first attribute until it reaches between 73 and 85 depending upon your build plan and how many attributes you eventually need to increase.

Ya came back around then but was always busy with work and such. So cap building would be making the main stats to around 48 for first cap and then so on correct?

No... that sounds more like a really extreme version of circle-capping. You don't want to do that.
jdbolick's build plan up above is a good example of how to cap-build, at least early on. Notice how he has you putting Skill Points into your main attribute until it's been taken up to about the 6th or 7th soft-cap before putting any SPs into any other attribute. He also uses Multi-Training to get some early work done on your other main attributes, but the emphasis is on getting your main attribute as high as possible as early as possible.
For now, just follow jdbolick's build plan to the letter. Don't try to guess what he wants you to do. Just do what he wants you to do.
It's all right up there in black-and-white.
The downside is that you're going to be building your dot in a VERY unbalanced way for the first few seasons, but the upside is that this will allow your dot to be VERY, VERY good later. And it helps that a lot of other people build this way too, so having an unbalanced dot early on really won't put you at much of a disadvantage, since you'll be playing alongside similarly un-balanced dots.

(And to clarify, there are times when a modified, less-extreme version of circle-capping is a very good idea, but not until you've taken your first attribute up to the 5th or 6th cap at least first.)

Okay so I will just play out this season with the bots I have then retire them after this season so that I can follow the guide. But from any of the Dots i do have are any of them good or are all of them useless?

They were all built mid-season, and the best dots are ones that are built between Day 40 and Day 48. So that right there tells me it's probably best to retire them all and start over.

Okay will do. And thanks for all the help. I will just have them finish off this year then start again on day 40.
