seems like its been quite a while now and there have been no major problems or complaints with the 2 pt conversion system, its about time we let teams go for 2 all game using the same criteria choices they already have now.

one of my dots is on a team that just lost a game 31-30 where in real life they would certainly have gone for 2

Would be too lame. Also in real life you probably aren't going for 2 in that situation with 11 minutes left in the game.

The system is the way it is because Bort specifically wanted to avoid the typical cheesing that would have occurred. It's like in Madden when people are constantly going for two and onside kicks.

I agree but what if it was so just the 4th quarter was freed up? That could be a decent compromise to this issue, I think....

I actually wouldn't mind that as long as the premise stayed the same where it is that one GL play.

anyone know if the overall success rate for 2 pt conversions is much more or less than would be seen in NFL? seems roughly the same, but that's just my impression. I haven't studied it. Just Googled actual NFL rates, and these aren't the most recent figures, but says 61% for running plays and 43% for passing. My hunch is GLB (running plays only) is around 45%
