WR was also open and further down the field, wr also caught the pass, so what's the problem? besides not throwing to your guy in order to get more yardage. Welcome to being a TE, it happens all the time in real football. The fb was also open, I don't see him crying about it sissy pants

The issue is about the QB not throwing the ball a dot who is saying "im open" as the QB is targeting him. I could care less if we had scored a TD on the play or had it intercepted. Its not about who did or who did not get the ball.

Its about the QB not throwing the ball to a dot who was open when targeted.

And, if you read what i said, he threw to the WR that was open and gained more yards, it just makes sense.

He should never had made that read to the WR since he read the TE first and the TE was open. He skipped over a dot who was open. Makes no sense. Are you really that clueless or you just trolling?

id be pretty ok with it myself.

Not really going to get much said about it unless you can find more replays of it happening though.

Neither, you just don't want to accept the answer, the qb made a good call, but you just don't want too hear it, in real life qb's will ignore one receiver who may be wide open to hit another receiver that is open to get more yards, but you keep thinking i'm an idiot that's just trolling.

This is a game of mathematical code man. Its not a real human being out there. The QB's code is to look at a dot and if he is open he is supposed to throw it. If he is not open than he moves on the next dot that is in order to be looked at.

Maybe the question to be asked is what the "I'm open" actually means, and how is it triggered.

I agree. I tried using Wiki but the site is not working for me. Going off memory Bort had said that the "Im open" icon meant that the QB would bypass the order of progressions to go to the dot that is screaming "im open" so to see him not throw it to a dot that is screaming im open is weird.

I will look for more examples now that I am aware of it.

Bort - "An wide open man will nearly always get the pass over a covered one."

So basically I'm Open just skips to that WR in the progression. It doesn't necessarily mean he is 100% going to be passed to. Though that is the first time I have seen one passed via no 2nd Im Open or Fake of some sort. Unless the fake move he sort of did counted.
