any ideas as to why this is happening?

this is my depth chart-

HB- scat
HB1- elusive
HB2- powerback

all 5 WRs in the normal WR spot.

every package has HB,HB1 or HB2 fully in it. so i have HB sweeps, HB1 sweeps, HB2 sweeps and theyre all correct. I use the same packages (these ones were just copies i modify for the girzzly carebears) and my other team isnt having this issue. sometimes the FBs play HB but i figure thats because theyre tired.

Goalline uses 3 TEs. It's drawing players over to fill the needed TE slots which inevitably leaves your HB slot wide open. At that point the sim selects a player based on some mangling of attributes

the HB is playing FB in this play so the game put a WR in the empty HB slot

so, why is the HB playing FB on that play? he's playing TE cuz it is a 3 TE set and it calls for TE1 and TE2 and you have the same player there so it grabs the FB

fill in your TE1 and TE2 slots with the other TE's so when both TE1 and TE2 are in the same play it grabs a TE to fill the spot instead of the FB

If you'd like to keep things the way they are without having to muck with changes, simply use the 'Goal Line Specific' TE depth chart slot and dump your 3 TEs there.

Not true.

Unless he is specifying for TE1 or TE2 for the actual goalline play call, it won't use those depth chart slots. It'd draw from the regular TE depth chart slot.
