Perhaps this has been suggested before; I don't know. But what I'd like to see is two seasons running in parallel, but overlapping. So there would still be the standard end of season, offseason, and preseason, but while it's happening, another season is going on around day 20-30. Gives us something to do and probably sucks some more flex point purchases out of people.

This would be a nightmare from a player-building standpoint. Wouldn't take long for a handful of people to figure out a way to shuffle their players back and forth between teams on Schedule A and teams on Schedule B to maximize XP, training, and ALGs. Once that starts, everyone else would have the choice of either going through the same insanely convoluted tricks just to keep up, or play like "normal" and watch their dots fall helplessly behind.
There needs to be more for players to do during the offseason, but this isn't the solution.

It wouldn't be that hard to segregate them, honestly. Completely separate leagues, no trading, tag the player with the league, etc. I think nightmare is a bit of an overstatement. It would certainly take some proper planning.

So, if I create a player, I'm automatically locked out of half of the teams in the game just based on which schedule track they happen to be on?
No thanks.
Still -1.

You're thinking half. I'm thinking double. New league, new teams, new players. Don't divide, multiply. You're kind of a glass half empty kind of guy, huh?

Assuming you're even correct... I still would automatically be locked out of half of the teams in the game just based on what schedule track they happened to be on.
So if I have a DE on a random team that I'm not really enjoying being on, and a friend of mine suddenly has an opening on his team for a new DE and asks me to move over, if he's on the "wrong" schedule track, I won't be able to. So instead, I'll just retire that DE at the end of the season.
You're not thinking this through at all. Limiting a person's options for playing the game will not increase their desire to play it.

no. I need some time to get some irl stuff done too. Offseason is great.

Why stop with 2 sets of leagues? Why not 4? Start a new league every 14 days. Or maybe even got with 8 and have leagues starting every 7 days. Just imagine how great it would be.
Damn, where's the sarcasm emoticon?

Great to see another mod bashing a paying customers suggestion like a dick and not even being constructive in his criticism.

Maybe..... Make peewee a separate season since peewees entrails are bad after their first season
? That would split it up sorta... Without screwing screwing things..

I'm a paying customer too.
PS - It was a joke.
