I didn't get anything into quick read which is my extra SA and I didn't add anything to carrying. How important is carrying?

I think quick read is better than field general and I think carrying needs to be a bit higher or you'll fumble too much

Agree with this, I do.

Where would you recommend carrying on a pure passing QB? 33? 40? I'm trying to decide on my deep passer right now.

fumble too often? The QB I finished was not all that great overall, and his carrying was 22. Over the course of his career he lost 6 fumbles. I don't think that is really all that negative, and I don't think there is much ROI in this regard.

Carrying is important... but you're right. It's really low on the totem pole for anything but a RQB. A bit higher (as suggested) would be somewhere around 30-ish IMO. But taking it to next cap might seem a bit much. Hope that clarifies.

I understand that WL is a different level, but I still really doubt that it is worth much investment. What is a ton in your opinion? Perhaps that will prove your point to me. Give me a measure.

I think I remember seeing this being talked bout a while ago I'd say maybe 5-10 a season it's only 8 SPs to move carry to 30 it'll make a big difference lol 22 is okay but about 30 is more ideal so it's not that it's bad lol

okay and adding 8 points to carrying will drop that number to what, in your opinion? I now get that you are not asking for much investment at all, but I wonder how much return there is on even the small investment. Also, I am not sure what I would rather see those 8 points spent on.

I would do it just as a status quo sort of thing some crazy coach might automatically deny you a spot because of it where you can hit 30 with it let algs bring it up a little and you'll be fine it's hard to put a number on it because you play against different players every game

You can do without Field General entirely. Carrying is decent, but hardly necessary.

So I was half right FG sucks but carry can vary?

It can mostly because it really depends on your O-line and your QB's ability to get the pass off BEFORE he gets hit. If those things are high quality, then carrying can be crap and it won't really matter becuz your QB won't be taking enough hits for fumbles to be an issue. However... if you're O-line isn't top dog and you QB is a touch slow... then you're gonna need to hold onto the ball when you get whacked. And whacked you will get.
I'll also add that... I believe... in Casual leagues, sometimes the passing QB finds himself behind the center when a "QB run" play is called. Not good. Not sure how much that happens outside of casual... but I've seen it happen.
