We had the #1 or #2 rated pass defense last season and took 1st place in the EE and GLB tournament and now all of a sudden our CB's are acting completely lost???

CB1 is in man to man coverage with WR1.....what is he doing? http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2332271&pbp_id=61288

CB3 is man to man with WR3....what is he doing? http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2332271&pbp_id=61810

CB2 is man to man with WR2....what is he doing: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2332271&pbp_id=62245

These CB's never showed that behavior one single time in S33 and now they look like level 1 dots playing coverage?

I know.....because there were issues with separate CB's on the same play.

Really looks like they're in a shallow zone. Odd.

If they are in man I'd report that behavior as a bug.

They are definitely in man coverage. I will sumbit it just to see what they say.

I had similar behaviors happening in a scrim this morning, private though so can't link.

I was watching some games this morning and my CB was letting his man run free in man to man coverage too. Private so i can't share. He actually caught up to the WR to make the tackle. WR was so wide open that if QB hit him in stride he would have been gone.

Unintended consequences of:

- Man defenders covering WR/TE screen pass target must now pass a vision check to rush the receiver and smother the play like they always used to

The guy handling my Bug Ticket said he would look into whether that screen vision check was happening on those plays I listed above. Those were not screen plays and therefore should not have had the extra vision check happening.
