ok...work brain but one of my agents just brought this up.....my team won't drop to rookie till day 42...builds on day 40...can you D league for 2 days to train,then get signed for team?

You can train without being on a team in the offseason. Or you can always just hold your TPs until you are signed if you want.
Edit: I didn't think of it at first, but if he has already signed to the CPU team, yes you can still sign him. Being on a CPU team you can still receive, accept, and reject contracts offers from human teams.

This player is not on a team. You must join a team to have access to training facilities during the season.

off-season starts in a few hours. you won't lose any training points.
but if you are for some reason focused on training in the next few hours, sure sign with a d league team?

In truth it doesn't matter. But if you're gonna be building all 55 dots for the team, yer gonna be busy for a while so I'd start asap (that being day 40 or 41).
