it has served no purpose since energy had to be recovered between games. Players should play on hard all the time.

I have forgotten to set it to intense for my newer dots on a number of occasions. Hell, had it on normal for one of them until university.

+ 1 no longer necessary. If GLB wont get rid of it, at least make "Hard" the default.
Fwiw, changes to play intensity were on Bort's radar in the past. I think the main challenge was coming up with the give and take between the 3 options to make them all viable selections.

If you would never change it, why would you want it removed? Wouldnt giving your opponent the option to choose poorly be to your advantage?
I guess what i am saying is maybe there IS a situation out there where the best thing to do would be play light. I cant explain what that might be, but why not give your opponent the ability to try it out?
