Does fame get reset or lowered when you get an endorsment deal? Two of my players just got endorsements and when I looked at their profile I noticed thier fame had gone down. Any association between the two? thanks.

I've really never paid much attention to fame, aside from a couple of experiments with fame-dependent VAs. But I doubt that getting an endorsement would actually make your fame go down.

When did you last check your fame? Did you literally check it on Day 23 (pre-endorsement), write it down for reference, and check it again on Day 24 (post-endorsement)? Or did you just look at your fame on Day 24 and think, "Huh... that looks lower than I remember it being a couple of weeks ago"? I'm willing to bet it was probably the latter.

yeah, it was the latter, and I think I was actually looking at the skill point worth just above the fame number.

Probably couldn't hurt to watch for this next time it's Endorsement time. GLB has had some surprising bugs in it before, so there's always that possibility that an Endorsement does actually drop your Fame. I just needed to find out how rigorous your data collection was in this case before weighing in more, that's all.

Hi Lucas - It looks like Novus has answered this one pretty well for you, but I wanted to reiterate that endorsements should not lower your fame total.
