Since asking for flex sales is apparently on the NGTH list.

Here is my much more "NGTH"avoiding suggestion:

I'm going to use a prime example "League of Legends(LOL) "probably the most stable of the e-sports games) in this suggestions.

Step 1:
League of legends has a drastically better recruitment incentive package, while they don't offer a great deal of RP (or the GLB equivalent of Flex) they do offer a great deal more of things.

• Players will still be granted the FLEX bonuses of recruiting new players.
• After"x" amount of recruits the player will be granted a special border around their profile"gif"
• After"y" amount of recruits the agent will be grant a special border around their forum avaatar
*After Z amount of recruits the agent will be granted something similar to that of the "Honor" initiative packages.
• After AA amounts of recruits the agent will be granted potential moderation of chats and forums within their server.

I realize these things seem simple, but people simple like little pictures and borders.... and I want new people.

First of all, they already do Flex Sales. They just did one 3 months ago, on Black Friday:

Second of all, a little border around my avatar is not going to make me get more recruits for this game. I doubt many others on here would be impressed by that either.

And seriously, you want to give people mod powers if they get enough recruits? That would get exploited like crazy, and it would be a nightmare to deal with.

I'm gonna guess none of this is gonna happen.

Weren't you banned? i remember you being banned for some reason..... Anyway, this game is past it's prime, the users that are still here will still be here until it dies.

Clearly you guys are failing to see the logic here, what I'm promoting is special borders around profile, forum avatars, and god forbid an "lolmoderator" title for those of us who bring actual new players to the game.

I don't see where any of you pointed out an issue other than you wouldn't be one of those people who wanted it,but a lot of people would.

No, I get it. I just think you are grossly overestimating the appeal of a special border around an avatar.

And your original post doesn't say "lolmoderator" titles... it says "the agent will be granted potential moderation of chats and forums within their server." That sounds like mod powers to me, not just a silly title.

But if it really is just a lolmoderator title... well, I think you're also grossly overestimating the appeal of a lolmoderator title.

Lord of the Rings online gives players a unique horse if they recruit five players to the game.

I have seen the mount in game once. Mind you I do not play often but I doubt its a huge incentive.

That said, how huge does it have to be to be worthwhile? A border is like free. What would it take? A few hours to code and implement?

I do understand BK's desire to get more bodies into the game... I'm not sure this is the (best) way to accomplish that. +1 for effort... -1 for OP.
