In before "Finish gameplanning earlier, n00b!" from all the people who don't have 2-year-old kids.

Depth Charts DO lock, but only for regular season games and playoff games.
If it's pre-season, a scrim, or a tourney game, the Depth Chart doesn't lock, but it still locks for regular season games and playoff games.
And yeah, I try not to cut it so close, but shit happens, especially when you have a 2-year-old. Quite literally, actually.

Did the GLB clock say 9:56 pm? And I hear you on the 2 years. I got a 4, 2 and 1. I loaded the wrong offense for my game today.

Well, it said 19:56, but that's 9:56pm my time. So, same thing.

Always gotta leave a bit of wiggle room. Things tend to pop up, even if you're not in the class of people with young children. Hey, once I almost missed gameplanning for a big game because my parents had gone out for what turned out to be a 4 hour lunch and I had to pick them up and drive them home because they had about a bottle of wine apiece.

Dammit, I'm PM'ing Catch anyway. They really should have a set window so people know for sure that a sim can't start any earlier than an hour before "sim time."
I mean, seriously, like 95% of the sims start within an hour of "sim time," 4% start late, and 1% start over an hour before "sim time." They basically train us all to get used to the sim starting within an hour of "sim time," but then every now and then they throw an early sim at us just to fuck with us.
It's damned annoying, and it doesn't have to be that way.

And wouldn't you be pissed if you were rushing to get your gameplan done in time for a sim that you expect will start at 10:00pm, only to find that it started at 9:56pm instead? Or 9:50pm? Or 9:30pm? And yes, there have been times when people got caught off guard because a sim started 90 minutes before "sim time."
They've gotten us all "trained" on the sim starting sometime within an hour of "sim time," because 95% of all the sims start within an hour of "sim time." It's high time they made that an official window.
Right now, it's like running a race where the judges know where the finish line is, but the racers don't.
Paint a damn finish line already.
