I have found that on offense, on a cpu/d-league, the tactics don't change at all if they get a non-cpu. I think that, if possible, the tactics should be changed.
if you sign witha cpu/d league as a WR, QB, or TE- more passing in tactics.
RB- more running.

How about the cpu's use the same tactics as the human team they are playing.
It's only fair!!

The whole point of CPU/D-League teams is that they suck, and are not supposed to be ideal places to put your players.

There are plenty of human-owned teams who need dots who would be glad to adjust their tactics to your dot. Sign with one of them.

(I will never understand people who PREFER to play on CPU teams. What's the point?)

well, I know for some of my players before, they were stuck on shitty d-league teams, and it occurred to me that if these teams are cpu controlled, shouldn't they try to appeal tactics towards the human controlled dots?

This. Every ounce of incentive should go to signing with a human team.

But again, the whole point of CPU teams is that they're supposed to be shitty. And the experience of playing on a CPU team is also supposed to be shitty. The only reason you can even sign your dots to a CPU team at all is so you won't miss out on experience while you're looking for a longer-term home for your dot on a human-owned team.

Bort and Catch want your dots to join a human-owned team as soon as possible, because it makes the game experience better for the people who spend Flex to buy and run teams. And if team owners aren't happy and quit buying teams, the game collapses.

So, no, CPU teams shouldn't adjust their tactics at all, quite frankly. And if your experience playing on a CPU team is less than satisfying, well, good. Mission Accomplished.

Go join a human team.

No, there's value in having a temporary home while you search for a permanent one.

That said, the temporary home should be uncomfortable, so that people have a reason to leave when they can.

Then be more careful about which human team you sign with.

If you just accept an offer from the first team that sends you one, or from a guy who tells you "Sign with us and I'll make you a starter with 87 plays a game!!!!!!", yer doin' it wrong. Talk to the owner, find out what sort of a system they're gonna do and how they want to use your dot, and then start asking questions. Make sure he's got his shit together and isn't just telling you whatever you want to hear.

It takes 2 people for a dot to end up on a bad team: an owner to suck at owning, and a dot's agent to fall for his shtick. You are in full control of whether or not you're the second guy.
