the way it currently is, after the current restructure teams that are all level 79's are being pushed into regional pro and it makes it far more complicated to be competitive as a team coming up from the Semi Pro Leagues.

The solution is simple, and it is to make a new league for between regional pro and semi pro.

Well...you boost to 71, get to 72 in like 3 days, and from there the competitive disadvantage isn't too glaring once you can do the lvl72 equipment upgrades. Lots of level 73 teams win Regional Pro hardware. The 79s in Regional Pro aren't always the toughest either. I don't know that dividing this into a separate league would be any good...plus what happens to your team once they win their new 240-280 league? Then they go to Regional Pro? Or they skip Reg Pro and go straight to Pro?

EDIT: not only is it a bad idea it might be NGTH to change anything with the league structure.

if you have decent dots, it's not tough to make rpl PO's in that 68-73 season.

this is a terrible idea.

+1 I agree with this idea especially in Casual it is pretty much impossible to go from Semi Pro to Regional Pro Elite and compete with those teams let alone win a championship. So I agree with the Idea we do pay for our teams to win a title every season not to take a break from having a shot at the title until the following season.

Who says brand new teams in a league SHOULD win championships?
That said, if they are run well enough they DO still have a chance.

Not really if you keep a team intact and your going up against LVL 79's there is no way you can beat them unless your SST in Casual might be the only team that has a chance. All teams should be able to be competitive every season. Why should we pay to not have a chance.

does seem like a waste to have to endure a season where most teams have no shot at winning... not sure a new league level is necessary so much as a proper sort of the teams into various leagues, but that's been needed forever (and all levels) and has yet to happen.

This is basically my stance and why I -1 this suggestion as a whole. I don't think the sorting is perfect, but I don't agree that a separate league is the way of doing things. I'm sure there are team owners who wouldn't want the additional tier to work through as well. It eliminates the fast track to WL possibility.

As T2 brought up, you've got dots that are getting their 72 EQ so it really isn't that big of a disparity. We're talking Regional Pro here. It's a combination of teams that were demoted from National Pro (didn't make playoffs), teams that didn't make playoffs in Regional Pro, teams that didn't play in a meaningful Regional Pro league, and or teams coming up from Semi-Pro.

The disparity really isn't that bad. I've had multiple dots play in WL at that age.

Whoever decided on the current structure of all leagues below the ones we're talking about.
