What do you guys think of this end build for a QB?

Attributes:
strength : 93.2
speed : 42
agility : 51.26
jumping : 10
stamina : 64.26
vision : 98.2
confidence : 77.26
blocking : 10
throwing : 107.2
catching : 8
carrying : 22.26
tackling : 8
kicking : 8
punting : 8
Top SA Tree: | 10 | 10 | 10 | 1 | 1 |
Bottom SA Tree: | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Additional SA Tree: | 10 | (Look off)

Bonus Tokens: 1416

Aiming for 3 AEQ. 900 for 3 AEQ, 75 per +5% attribute, and 191 tokens for shopping/ extra SP's end build.

With the throwing VA I'll have 170 effective throwing. My only thought was to try and go back and train strength more so than the secondaries.

If you were to build that dot again, would you change anything to the build? It looks great to me, maybe a little added speed to soft cap, strength to 97-100?

Perhaps you could steal a few SP's from Stamina. I've been told Look Off isn't worthy... perhaps Quick Read instead? Personally I'd like Confidence (for a QB) to be at least 80. And Agility will help you more to avoid sacks than speed will... and it helps your passing as well (or so says GLB).

flipping strength and vision and then using Football Genius to raise up vision can get both 100+ to go with that throwing

kinda like thins I ran through the builder

I'm not sure that strength is really that important, especially since the vast majority of throws are well under the distance threshold for declining pass quality. I still push it into the 90s, I just wonder if I really need to. Bort said once upon a time that vision and throwing are the two primary components of pass quality, presumably with throwing being the more important of the two.

I agree. I know some QB builders that swear by strength... and others that do not. Given my personal preference, I'd prefer Agility over strength. Something about it seems to help with passing accuracy (really... I've seen enough to believe there is a difference)... and I suspect it really does help with avoiding sacks (and firing things like "Turn the Shoulder" and such).

That I don't agree with. Attributes for a passing quarterback are probably something like:

#1) Throwing
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
#2) Vision
...
#3) Strength
...
...

#4) Confidence
#5) Agility
#6) Stamina
...
#7) Carrying
...
...
#8) Speed

from an attribute standpoint I would flip strength and vision because I usually add Football Genius which then brings the vision total higher than strength

A little less strength, more agility, vision , and confidence, and I'll make that dot a star.

Ain't this why it's fun? While similar in thoughts, there's just enough difference to make dots that aren't just cut & paste copies of each other... and STILL these builds are good. All 3 types.

I wouldn't mind having vision 5-10 points higher than strength.

Watching high agility+vision QBs make throws that my passing QB struggles with (over the middle throws seem to miss the target) I would probably raise agility higher than the 51 it is at in the OP.

Short throws seem to be much harder to get on target than long throws since they redid the targeting mechanism.

I'm also considering dropping pass distance AEQ in favour of fake or another quality piece.
