When I clicked on Epic Suggestions I see most of them are from 3-4 years ago. That's a bit ridiculous. I think in the last 3-4 years GLB users have thought of ideas that warrant epic suggestion status.

Anyways, bump to epic suggestions?

Epic suggestions are sort of redundant when we have the 'up for vote' suggestions tool. The only thing to be done is a huge cleanup project where Epic Suggestions = Up for Vote

Epic suggestions and voting only exist to appease the masses. Think of it as a shiny button.

Don't be butthurt that your suggestions didn't get implemented immediately.

Pretty much every change to the game ever has came from user suggestions.

Set goals for # of expected implemented suggestions seasonally.

So we can hold these Fers accountable.

any company should set goals, i don't think that said goals should need to be released to the masses

I dunno. I kinda feel EPIC suggestions should be a MOD only forum where, over time, MODS post implemented suggestions that have greatly altered or enhanced the game. A kind of "HOF" of suggestions. This would be not only recognition for those that originally came up with the suggestion... but all of those that spoke up for it as well and pushed it to EPIC status. And it'd be a good place for future GLB'ers to go and see how to do it right (make suggestions).
And, as for the "suggestions" forum itself, it should have 2 parts to it. Current and Past suggestions. We shouldn't lose old suggestions just because they're old... some of them are still quality and come back up again later. Having old suggestions allows for those making new suggestions to see if what they're suggesting has been done before... make links if needed, and maybe learn why it failed the first time. Whereas, Current suggestions would be those that are still getting posts or are new to the field.
Doing this would make the forum much leaner and cleaner and easier to keep that way.

Going to lock this as it doesn't serve any purpose.

Anyone wishing to post in a thread that has expired may contact a mod to unlock the thread.

Concerning epic threads, anything that is positive and garners some steam is brought up with Catch. At that point he makes the call whether to put it up for vote or not.
