I understand that I get 12 bonus tokens every 4 days on 4 multi train and only 8 tokens every 3 days on 3 multi train so that makes 36 BT in twelve days for 4-multi and 32 BT for 3-multi but the training is higher on 3-multi instead of 4-multi. Is there a clear cut winner??

Training is not higher on 3-multi. 3-multi gives 120% of Intense, while 4-multi gives 130% of Intense. 4-way multi training is the clear cut winner.

so in twelve days I would get 120% 4 times or 480% on 3-multi and 130% 3 times is 390%, not clear cut

In your logic you're missing the fact that with 4-way training you are training 4 attributes as opposed to 3. The bonus is to each individual training percentage. You aren't getting 120%, in the sense of a standalone value, when you train.

3-way multi training - In twelve days you get 120% * 3 attributes * 4 trainings = 1440% gain combined from all the trained attributes.

4-way multi training - In twelve days you get 130% * 4 attributes * 3 trainings = 1560% gain combined from all the trained attributes.

Add in the extra BTs, and it is pretty clear cut to me.

Training 3 ways gets you 120% of training percentage for 3 attributes = 1.2x * 3 = 3.6x.
Training 4 ways gets you 130% of training percentage for 4 attributes = 1.3x * 4 = 5.2x.

At the end of 12 days, you train 3 times on 4 way and 4 times on 3 way

3 way: 3.6x * 4 = 14.4x + 32 BTs
4 way: 5.2x * 3 = 15.6x + 36 BTs

At the end of 60 days (there are 57 days in a full season, so assume 1 season)

3 way: 3.6x * 4 * 5 = 72x + 160 BTs
4 way: 5.2x * 3 * 5 = 78x + 180 BTs

Over 4 seasons...approximate comparison:
3 way: 3.6x * 4 * 5 * 4 = 288x + 640 BTs
4 way: 5.2x * 3 * 5 * 4 = 312x + 720 BTs
