Can you do it? If I enter Plateau with 14 training pts, would I still be able to use them? And what was the max TP you can store?

Yes you can still use

Max TP stored is dependent on what day of season and whether or not you on a team

I think in Reg season on a team it's 22?
If not on team 14?
In off season it's like 32?

In season you can carry up to 30 TP if you're on a team and 14 in you're not on a team.

In the offseason (and preseason, I believe) there is no cap. If you have more than the cap once the season starts you'll lose them.

At anytime I see 10 or more on a dot I make sure to either use them or set up new auto training goal. I dont think i have ever had 14 stored on a dot, and I've always been on some team, even D-leugue if need be. That's why I guessed Originally posted by AirMcMVP

Didn't they get rid of the training point cap?

Only during the offseason (and possibly preseason, can't remember). It was part of the change that made dots created between days 40 and 48 the same.

Thank you all for the information. I have a few dots getting to plateau and wanted to roll over some training gains after boosting up to 79.

Wow. I seem to remember holding TP for a dot and then losing them on day 281. You guys sure about this? I might be mistaken.

I have had TP on day 281 and used them , but then again they may have been from trade in XP.(back when pre APD dots still got good trade in XP at age 281 post APD)

What about the post season? I have a dot who's team died (got sold) and either had to bail now or wait until next season (according to the alert).

And I can't sign with a CPU team in the meantime.

Makes no sense to hold onto training unless you see no noticeable change from anything... you'll be sitting on them for 5 seasons. Makes no sense to try and hold off.

That seems to be an oddball situation that probably was never considered. Obviously if you stay with the team you can continue to train and accumulate TP. If you release from the team, you'll be capped at 14 TP and not able to train.

I guess your only option would be to use enough TP to not have more than 14 until day 41? Support may be able to help as well.
