its in the title basically just allow us to choose between training to a level, attribute level, or specific % level.

to many times i have lost out on training to 99ish % because the multi training just goes until the next level. would make things much better if we could trade to a % imo.

edit from post on page 2:

setup maybe like this

(drop down for player training option) (drop down for the number) (drop down for the % of training to stop at)

so the training option to the number you want to train to then when at that number this is the % you wanna train to before stopping.

So are you saying that if an attribute is 50% trained and the next train would give 51% that your training would only push to 99%? That's kinda the way it sounded.

Another option might be to have the alert show up when training an attribute will roll it over the desired # you have set. As it is now, the alert shows up after the attribute has reached your set number.

Ex. Speed is trained to 95% at 83. You have it set to stop at 84 and are intense training it. Intense training gives you 6% which would roll over your attribute to 84. The alert would show up on the day Speed is at 95%/83 knowing that the nightly training would roll over the attribute.

This is just an example. i don't know for sure if those numbers are accurate but it should give you an idea of what i am suggesting.

I think what he wants is to preset a percentage where it would stop training just as it does now for a preset skill number. Stopping training at, say 98%, rather than have it roll over to the next number up. This would mean cutting off training at less than it's maximum effect though. Example. I'm training speed up to 98% trained at skill level 47. I don't want it to go to 48... so I set both level and percentage trained. But, that means if the previous training is at 93% and the next training session would take it over the 98% threshold I preset... then it would stop at 98%, costing me whatever training gains I would've gotten beyond 98%.
Doesn't sound like something I would ever do... but, for the lazy builder that doesn't wanna do the math to avoid going over... it's fine by me if they want it.

Now this would work better. +1 this. Nice work Daryl.

-1.... been suggested before. remember the whole "approximate" discussion?

let's keep some randomness in there.

So you'd basically have to set your auto train to (for example) 63 and then once it finishes set it again for 95%? To do it in one step would require an interface change that I doubt Bort would be willing to make.

I have a feeling this is NGTH but if its not, I give it a -1. I can only imagine the outrage when someone sets their threshold to 99% and a random breakthrough forces the attribute over the desired level (and training continues since the attribute is still below 99%.

perhaps warning that your gonna go over on the next training would be more appropriate i play every day have no prob with this

I like the basic concept and also the warning system Ray proposes.
