The slider for returners in ST tactics only seems to work on Kickoffs, they should be able to return a punt that's headed for the endzone rather than stand there and watch it sail over their head and land a yard deep.

i'm going to guess it's because you rarely see a punt returned from the end zone ... why would you want to do that, btw?

pretty sure by rule as soon as a punt crosses the goal line it is a touchback in all forms of football, therefore it is not even an option.

I'm not so sure. But this is dotball, and the rules are whatever the devs decide them to be.

are you talkling GLB rules or real rules? not true at all to my knowledge. you can catch a punt in the endzone and advance it. doesn't happen a lot because of risk of a muff, but since that doesn't happen in GLB, we should be able to run them out just like a kick off.

are you talkling GLB rules or real rules? not true at all to my knowledge. you can catch a punt in the endzone and advance it. doesn't happen a lot because of risk of a muff, but since that doesn't happen in GLB, we should be able to run them out just like a kick off.

Only if the returner hasn't touched it. If it's caught, or touched, by the return team, then it's a live ball anywhere on the field... including the endzone.
