If you double the amount of plays available you could achieve this. Many OC's get bored running the same 30 plays that they like and DC's are sick of defending the same small number of plays. The only thing that changes are the QB progressions.
Add a ton of plays and inject some life back into this game. Mainly speaking for higher level players/teams, but it would be good for all levels i am sure. Not sure if this would be to difficult to accomplish

Seriously, though, I think in the Q&A they specifically said no new plays were coming.

As for the avatar my nephew plays basketball for them, so while he is there I have to represent even though i really don't like IU myself.

The devs seem to have basically said

"Good news Boss! The sim is not extremely broken! Nothing is extremely over powered and not too much is totally useless!"

"How the ^%#&@ did THAT happen?"

"No idea. Should we start implementing all those changes to make the game awesome we have on the back burner?"

"If you touch a thing in the sim that could change the balance of anything, I'll throw you out the &^%#*&ing window!

Sadly new plays would entail alot of balancing issues. So no way jose.

Though in concept I agree with the OP.

I am looking for wildcat, wishbone, read option, fumblerooskie, reverses, halfback option passes, pistol formation, fake punts, fake FG and onside kicks.

Then GLB will be fun.

Gameroom / mini-games, player bling, image creator for dots, custom fields actually being a part of the game, ect...

There's the big issue. Vision check=code=compute cycles=server time=$
We're trying to model the weather essentially and it simply requires a potload of data and machines to crunch it.
Mebbe he should have gone with a distributed client type model for handling all the processing required........
Could of made Vision and Intelligence separate attributes too.....

I would settle for just adding the 52 defense into the game.
