Hello there, my question is simple. I wanna purchase a Rookie team for S33.

I saw there are some teams available this season in some leagues. If I purchase one of them (mostly full of CPUs), will I be able to go in Rookie league next season ?

Or should I wait the offseason to purchase my team. Thanks

Yes you would be able to go into the Rookie leagues. You can put a demotion request in and demotions happen at the beginning of the offseason usually (however, these requests can continue up until the end of the offseason I believe.) However, I'd wait until the end of the season, getting teams shouldn't be a problem as more will turn CPU as the season goes on and there will be more teams added too if required at rookie level.

Yup.... EPS is right. Actually on both parts. And.... I would wait it out till the end of the season too.

Alright thanks guys.

So there's no advantage in purchasing the team right now ? I won't be able to upgrade the stadium or anything ?

Nah. Upgrades to the Stad are set for the start of the season. Only advantage is that your cost will be cut a little due to us
already being in a season. They "pro-rate" it when you buy at this time of the season. Honestly.... you still end up spending the
same amount in the end tho.

If you buy it now you can buy seats for the Stad but still won't be able to max out those sections.

Nope, your stadium and cash resets if you're demoted at the end of the season so there's no real point. You want to purchase your team as late as possible ideally so you get your value for Flex and more meaningful days in ownership

If you can afford it, buy it now.. that way you get a leg up on signing new dots..while others have to wait for new teams to be released.

No you don't, if he wants to be Rookie all the dots he signs will need to be 0 days old and created from day 40 onwards

Thats the reason why I'm asking the question... All the players will be created on day 40.

You can recruit without having a team. Buy a Private Forum for 100 Reward Points, set that up, get recruiting and then buy the team later on. That's what I and many other owners do.

I don't need recruiting, roster is already set. Its a new team for a network I have all the players in place. All I wanted to know is whats the best thing to do, buy it now or wait

Better off waiting until the end of the season as you earn no advantage buying one now and it would just be a waste of ownership days.

If your recruiting dots there is, always better to have a team already in place. Teams are handed out Day 44-45 some guys get impatient and sign with existing teams.
