High. Bort was purposefully rough against any sort of 'wildcat' cheesing.

FB playing QB is going to be the same kind of deal. The exact oopp's aren't known information.

If you're trying to have your QB block or rush out of the QB slot with a HB, it's not going to be all that great, plus the QB pathing forces them out of the situation for blocking purposes for the most part.

I used to Wildcat cheese back when there were no tags and it was like season 5 or 6, but now it's kind of pointless.

in one of my AI's I have a couple of QB rushes in there, but the QB really isn't ready to be running it. Was just going to try and use a FB there for the time being.
No biggie

All depends on the Attributes, I guess.

Chop your FB's Speed, Agility, Carrying and Strength all in half, and compare that to what your QB has right now. If the FB STILL has better attributes even at half-power, then the FB actually is better to use, at least for the moment.

Still doesn't make it a GOOD idea, but it would at least make it a less-awful idea.

It's a math game. Amazes me how many people don't want to bother with the math.

I would just take those plays out altogether or find a rushing QB.

too late for that right now, but it may be an option for next season.

I will take those plays out though. running a scrim now to see if it kills me

thanks again guys

Wildcat is a nice wrinkle to use maybe once a season.

While not "known", there is a simple logic to an educated guess. Start with 5% being the most likely "smallest percentage" of penalty applied to a dot playing OOP. Keep adding 5% increments the farther OOP a dot is from it's original position and you'll be in the ballpark at the very least.
