Forum > FAQ's, Player Guides and Newbie Help > how many bts do i have to save to truely get a piece of advanced EQ?
I budget about 400 per piece assuming i can get lucky in the store but pieces range from 368 to 425 fully upgraded with +3 attribute bonus if you build them.

If you wait until level 51 or 61 to shop (which you should) then you can usually get your first two pieces for about 40-85 BTs + 300 to upgrade to level 72.
Some positions can shop for all 4 pretty easily and expect to spend 40-85 on all 4 of them, maybe a few more point for that 4th where you usually have to pay the 15 BTs to convert it to another slot.
WRs and TEs are probably the toughest positions to shop, might be better off to just buy what you want for those two.
Other than WRs, I rarely spend more than 1425-1475 for a 4 AEQ dot fully upgraded, and I've spent as little as 1350 or so in a few cases.

Pretty easy to get at least 2 pieces by shopping at 41 a few times (for most positions)

I usually go with:
300 per piece of AEQ (upgrades)
+
21 per piece (rolling)
+
19 per piece (buying)
+
50 per piece (upgrading)
So 1170 for three pieces and 1560 for four.
However, I usually come in under this number by either sacrificing a little bit (I roll a +2, +5% piece in a slot I haven't already bought, or taking a +3 attribute in my secondary attribute on some builds), by luck (such as finding a +3, +5% piece and it fits or I only need to pay the movement cost if duplicated), or by requiring an SA piece (such as Spin/Juke) instead of a +5% AEQ piece (this saves considerable BTs for that piece).
I usually come in around 1025 to 1070 for a 3 piece build and 1400 for a four piece build.
The advantage of buying a little bit earlier (level 41+ instead of 51+) is that you seem to get fewer conjoined pieces (single +3 attribute or +5%).
In addition, the earlier you are finished acquiring all of your pieces, the earlier you know how many BTs you absolutely require to finish AND the earlier you can assign your CEQ upgrades to whatever piece you ended up missing.
