So many misconceptions of Casual.

You can go for it consistently on 4th down in Casual, only if you are inside the 30 yard line. You have to set your FG distance to less than 47 yards and the sim will go for it on 4th down in any instance in which you are inside the 30 and beyond the set FG range. So if you wanted to go for it on all 4th downs inside the 30, you would need to set your FG Distance at anywhere between 0-17 yards.

The main problem with the above is that it will go for it on 4th down and .5 or 4th down and 15 if you set it like that and are inside the 30 yard line.

The other option gives you less full control, but does do it in more realistic scenerios. That is by using the presets. The "power", "Big", and "run first" presets will go for it a lot on 4th & short. Usually only once you are past the 50, and sometimes is affected by the score and time left in the half/game.

If you want to go for it on 4th & .5 on your own 20, play lolregular cause that ain't real football but happens all the time in lolregular.

It doesn't happen often but I see NFL teams go for it on 4th and inches or 4th and 1 from their own 20 or their own 30. I have seen them line up and go for it or do a fake punt. Just saying it does happen in "real football".
