Anything i should change between now and then? Still early in his build, i can change some things to adjust his end build. Just looking for some pointers as this is my first returner.

That's a pretty terrible build. He's too slow, has too little strength, has way too much vision, doesn't have Juke, and you've made terrible EQ choices. At the minimum you should have +15% BT chance, +15% Fake Chance, +15% Not Fumble Chance, 10 Spin, and 10 Juke.

And how are you only at 1292.7 on a 3 AEQ build?

I tried this "Circle Capping" thing that somebody had convinced me to try. So im not taking full advantage of the higher ALG's.

I thinkt he last cb returner of yours that i seen, was even slower....

The Returner on my yaksmen team has 10 Juke, along with 30% juke chance and i have seen it fire one time this entire season.

In my experience the primary thing you want your returner to do is not drop the ball.

In light of that,

Strength to 71 (cost 8 more SP)

First Step to 3(4) saves - saves 5 SP

Change Direction to just 4(5) - saves 3 SP (or Confidence 47 but that impacts carrying too I think)

CEQ into 12% Avoid Fumble instead of 4 Change Direction

Just my thoughts. I have had returners drop alot of returns and its no fun.

Going to PM you the Miracle Returner build. It doesn't score much, but its been holding on to the ball this season.

Not sure how speed can be much better and have everything else where it needs to be.

I was wondering about vision. Just not sure - does vision impact Spin firing at all????

If not, then yes, vision could be in the 70s and those points could go into agility to fire spin more or to get change direction back up.

I haven't seen a huge difference with my returners that have AF% and the ones that do not

I think using the other attributes to avoid the situation might be better

60 vision = 96 vision after VA's are taken into account

Depending on how you do it, circle capping is the way to go (definitions differ); it seems like you just did it wrong.

My previous two returners all had 158 speed, plus the occasional track star or endorsement EQ.

And you also want Fake Chance to help with Juke.

You notice how I didn't say anything about fixing his build. He can't get speed where he needs it to be and get his other attributes there as well. His best bet is to retire and recreate with a better build plan, preferably an EHB instead of the CB.

Vision does help Spin fire, but the opportunity cost of taking Vision to 80 on a returner is too high.

Anything else you could add would likely add less than AF% would. I should also say, I push my returners' Cover Up to around 6 as well. And protip: returners fumble more the higher up the elusive slider they get. Using SE helps to break bigger gains, but will also result in more fumbles.
