I've never made a power rusher before... Just curious what a good end speed is for one? I was looking to make one next season.

135-150 depending on what you want your end strength and carrying and agility to be.

Well... I would think that strength would be key here...something around 160? or is that to much for a rusher? Would agility or speed be more important for a power rusher looking to be more or less 100% inside rusher? Agility will help him to get going and moving side to side and help avoid a tackle, and with less speed he just wouldn't out run anyone, just hope to break a lot of tackles....seems like agility might trump speed a little....

He's describing a pure tank, not a "PHB". Don't know if I've ever seen a 160 strength running back. Could it work? Possible. I would think it would take a lot longer to get him to a point here he was producing. If you dump all your EQ in strength, working, carrying, agility, speed/vision/stamina would take a while.
Although I've seen some really good PHB's with ~mid 120 speed wreck some really good defenses.

I had...not any more...a guy on my team that nailed a str/carry/speed power back....brkn tackles like a mutha and nimble enough for outside rushes
up the middle is like peadawg is saying...tank...whole different ball game.....160 str would work but you would need hella extras to brk a NT or DT up the gut often

This is my opinion too, I'm trying one out that is going to be a 'tank' also...

I did a FB tank that gutted NT's.....still had to get str/carry and bruiser/break tackle/surge all on line or he would go for 2-3 and maybe hit 4-5...but if you get it leveled out it can be done for 5 ypc on most days
Never built one but have built other power players (WR , FB, and TE). All I can say is, while strength IS a primary, strength without a lot of help is just another turtle on the highway. Can you break tackles? Yeah... but you need enough speed to make gains from those broken tackles... otherwise 11 speedy gnats will simply swarm you and drag you down (or you end up tripping over their bodies... either way you get stopped). That said, Bane is closest to better thinking. After 90 points in strength, the cost to get strength higher comes at the expense of speed and agility... which helps you make better gains AFTER you tank a few dots. Since you'll be slow(er) as a HB, I wouldn't put anything into catching. And be sure to get your "carrying" up there pretty high (around 80, I would think) cuz that'll help you break those tackles better and keep you from fumbling... since you WILL be caught and you WILL deal with it.

all strength rushers have failed and will continue to fail...
momentum is a major issue... I can see the benefit of going 130 strength and going all out in carrying 100+ and strength 100+ as well... but you're never going to just bulldoze through the entire team. It may happen in the low level leagues, but higher up... 160 carrying and like 80 speed is just a recipe for disaster. If you want to waste your time, go ahead.

yes... although 105 carrying/95 strength would fair slightly better.

This dot will end up at 100 strength, 140 speed and 90 carrying. He's starting to do pretty well.
