I know there are quite a few DCs out there that have hundreds or thousands of plays and now your DPC is quite cluttered. I'm one of them and let me tell you, its hard to find the plays I want or need in the DPC or in the DAI when selecting plays... So here's what I'm thinking should be added.

In the DPC when you hit CREATE NEW CUSTOM PLAY, you have a few options next to the play design (Designed for offense formation and Designate a play type this play defends). A third drop down menu should be added which allows you to specify what tagged player this defends. (for example: If I'm creating a play to defend a pHB in the I Form, I would set the O formation to I form and the tagged player as pHB in the play creator)

In the DPC you can filter the plays at the top based on those drop down settings.. If they added this idea then we could also sort all plays based on the tag we set it with. That way you can pull up all your plays designed for Power HBs and not have to search through your AI for them..

The last part of the suggestion is this... When editing a package or AI and you hit select play, you have the option under my plays to filter the plays. Right now you only have FILTER O FORMATION and FILTER PLAY TYPE. With this suggestion I would like to see a third filter option in the select play settings. Add: Filter Tag. So now you can select in the AI select play setting, the O formation and then the tags under that formation.

This would be a very simple addition and it would probably help a lot of the DCs with tons of plays.

Or, could just allow us to change the name of one of the many options for filterine in the already existing drop down window.

Maybe, but this way there is a dedicated filter for tags and DCs won't have to go about changing the names on anything.. What you suggested may cause more headaches than this way..
