More advantageous for OLinemen to be pass block focus or run block focus?

Considering it's a pass you would think pass block focus, but they start to block forward after the catch appearing as run blockers.

^this^ Pass blocking ONLY applies to the protection of the "passer" on any play. Once the ball is passed (and, hopefully, caught) then it's all "run blocking". Same for kick and punt returns.

thanks guys. that's what i thought it was but you never know with this game how things are set up sometimes.

Even better would be to remove all screen plays from your offense.

do you consider 5 yards a good play? i sure do, screens are really hit or miss though.

id definitely say dont waste time on WR/TE screens but sometimes HB and FB screens can do some damage if you rarely use them.

Bad idea. HB/FB Screens can be very effective if used right

If it's casual league, I'd agree because screens are typically used to exploit defensive tendencies, but you can't use an A.I. in casual to take advantage of this. Anywhere else though, screens are very effective when done properly.
