My question is if you run 5 plays in one package should you put their percentage to play at 20% or leave them at 100%
Example
1.I Medium Cross 20%
2.Pro Slants 20%
3.TE Crosses 20%
4.Shotgun Smash 20%
5.FB Under 20%
Equaling a 100%
OR
1. I Medium Cross 100%
2.Pro Slants 100%
3.TE Crosses 100%
4.Shotgun Smash 100%
5.FB Under 100%
Meaning they all fire 100%
Any help greatly appreciated

They are the exact same, save yourself some clicks and leave em at 100%.

edit: this might not be true if you're using auto adjust.

Auto adjust increases at flat values, so if you do choose to leave your play biases at 100 just understand that pairing it with say the lowest auto adjust option will have a minimal effect.

The opposite of that is if you choose to split up your biases so they add to 100 but you still use auto adjust, it can have an overbearing effect. Let's say you have 10 plays each at 10%. If your auto adjust is set high and one particular play has a good result, that play may jump to 15%, and that's just the result of one play. It could be very easy to get to a point where you are basically 'spamming' the same play, even if that wasn't intended.

So it seems it would be better to just turn auto adjust off and run each 100%

If you trust in your gameplanning, yes.

Auto adjust can be a big help for 'mid-game adjustments' as it helps cater towards the plays that are 'working'.

assuming that AA is set to zero (none) and all pkgs are set to 100%, what effect does 'adjust medium' have in the OAI if you only have two pkgs set to 50% each?

Not 100% I understand what you're describing but I think you're referring to auto adjust within the packages versus auto adjust within an input.

If you have an input with two outputs, each with a corresponding package, the auto adjust will merely affect the chance of the package being called.

This auto adjust is independent from the auto adjust within the package itself, which affects the chance of the individual plays being called.

So, is it possible that the lack of success with an AI, could be attributed to having auto adjust with in the packages set at high and with in the input set to something like medium?

That's far too vague a scenario.
