Is it really worthless?

By itself... it's not the biggest bang for your SP's. But, in tandem with other skills, absolutely! (example; I have a CB that has high jumping & catching = more deflections and INT's.)

What I want to know is where does Confidence fit into the mix.
So many different opinions and builds out there on that issue.

No more than 50. Can certainly get away with 40 or below if you're not interested in OTK.
It's been like this or what... 20+ seasons or so?

Jumping is 6th highest attribute (and only barely...might as well be 7th).
Jumping doesn't suck, and I have some good CBs who use jumping at pretty high levels....but it is by no means something that you must pimp in order to be a good CB.

I Have seen really good dots by good owners with very low confidence and others with very high confidence and commentary on it that goes both ways as well, even in the same position dot.
