OK, googled this answer and can't find it.

What is the skinny on difference between break tackle chance and fake chance?

I think I read at one time break tackle chance effects Spin, and Fake effects head fake, juke, and open field.

THis true? Missing anything? Thanks

Open Field Fake isn't a fake ability like Head Fake or Juke. It's just a bonus to fakes, similar to the effects you gain from your bonus from +% fake. So Open Field Fake isn't modified by +% fake.

Sometimes you juke a guy and he still dives for a shoestring tackle, BT% can make that diving tackle more likely to fail. Spin boosts your break tackle score and BT% helps you win the roll, a diving tackle attempt penalizes the other guys make tackle score and BT% helps you win the roll.


Quite a few tackles get broken without Spin or other BT SAs firing.
