Is there a point in casual leagues? Or is it mainly for regular leagues? Hopefully not a dumb question :-p

There's definitely a point, if you don't know what you're doing.

It's all Bort plays in Casual, I really don't see a need for one. Others will definitely see otherwise though.

I've never understood what an OC or DC for a casual team actually does.

Yeah I'm just curious. This will just be my 2nd season with a team so I'm unsure about most of it. We went 14-2 last year but both games we lost we couldn't score at all. So I was trying to figure out how to fix that issue.

Good GM's in Casual can get the sim to run the plays they want. Believe me, it's not all about builds in Casual.

She is no longer with us. She died a few months ago. Her name was Melissa and she was one of the best at Casual game planning. Her son Rayto87 (Chad) took over the team. He is very good too but not as good as she was.

I head coach a Casual Pro team and the owner SubSym put a tremendous amount of time in game planning. He sets it with DE's going into the flats at times, the HB playing FB at times for the FB sweep plays and FB pass plays, and so on and so on.

You can do A LOT with Casual if you put in the time to learn it. Its not just a matter of setting a percentage to run and pass which is what most people think it is.

Unless I am missing something I don't see where you won 4 or 5 golds in a row as a DC

there are very few casual guys that i respect. 3 to be exact. i just think casual is for guys who just dont care anymore or just dont want to put effort into a gameplan. im sure some CPL teams could kick the shit out of regular pro teams though.

It is for people who have less time to gameplan and go through and create an Al which can be quite time consuming for some. While Casual isn't easy, it's a lot less time consuming and demanding than if you were coordinating or owning a Regular Al team.

A lot of people are also used to the Casual format too, from the early seasons of GLB when these were the only teams available.
